    Es war das traurige Ende eines kuriosen Abenteuers, das noch gar nicht richtig begonnen hatte: Der britische Segler Andrew Bedwell wollte den Weltrekord für die Atlantiküberquerung mit dem kleinsten Segelboot brechen, aber seine 1-Meter-"Yacht" zerschellte vor zwei Jahren unter einem Kran. Nun ist er wieder bereit.
  • Eisgang an der Ostsee: Frostiger Sturm sorgt für Bedingungen wie vor 15 Jahren – Kiter gerettet 4. Februar 2026
    Der aktuell stürmische und eisige Ostwind setzt der gesamten Ostseeküste zu. Er sorgt für Eisdecken in und vor den Häfen. Der Chill-Faktor beträgt bei gut 7 Bft bis zu minus 20 Grad.     Ein Motorboot rammt in Gleitfahrt eine Segelyacht, während der Skipper unter Deck auf dem Klo sitzt. Er kommt mit einem Bußgeld von gut 1000 Euro davon. Die Yacht ist ein Totalschaden. Nach Einblick in die Polizeiakten ist die geschädigte Seglerin geschockt von der Darstellung. Sie will den Fall neu aufrollen lassen.
