    Nicolas Lunven ist vielen Malizia-Fans als Navigator von Boris Herrmann während The Ocean Race ans Herz gewachsen. Er übernahm dann bei Holcim-PRB das Ruder nach dem Rauswurf von Kevin Escoffier und segelte eine starker Vendée Globe (Platz 6). Nach dem Ende des Projekts hing auch Lunven in der Luft. Nun geht es für ihn weiter.

    Bereits 2019 hat der japanische Segler Mitsuhiro „Hiro“ Iwamoto mit einem Segelboot den Pazifik überquert - damals zu zweit. Nun plant er erneut die 5.000-Meilen-Passage auf einem 8,50 Meter langen Boot von den USA nach Japan, dieses Mal einhand. Das Besondere daran: Hiro ist blind.
