    Nach dem Passieren von Kap Hoorn wird es für Guirec Soudée erst richtig ernst. Im Pazifik trifft der französische Einhandsegler bei seiner Ost-West-Weltumseglung auf schwere See und 50-Knoten-Böen (Video!). Und auf die Erkenntnis, dass selbst ein Ultim-Trimaran primär eines benötigt: Zurückhaltung.

    Stefan Mauer hat schon kundig und amüsant auf SegelReporter berichtet. Es ging per Kielzugvogel nach Vlieland, zum Männertörn vor Neustadt, und schließlich mehrfach mit dem Jollenkreuzer durch das Wattenmeer. Nun berichtet er über die Kanalinseln (Teil I) und hier vom Trockenfallen vor der berühmten Abtei Le Mont-Saint-Michel.

    Die Luft ist eigentlich raus aus der Globe40-Veranstaltung um die Welt seit Lennart Burke und Melwin Fink nicht mehr dabei sind, nur noch sechs Class40 segeln und zwei moderne Boote 1000 Meilen vorweg segeln. Aber dieser Zieleinlauf ist unglaublich.
