The Ocean Race Atlantic: Meilhat gewinnt Krimi auf den letzten Meilen 10. September 2026
Das Finale bei The Ocean Race Atlantic war dann doch nicht so spannend, wie es zunächst ausgesehen hatte. Nach rund 3.250 Seemeilen über den Nordatlantik lagen die vier führenden IMOCA nur acht Meilen auseinander. Aber Paul Meilhat bestätigte, dass er auf einer Leichtwind-Rakete sitzt.

Nach Verlust der Ethel von Brixham: Nächster historischer Trawler in schwerer Seenot 10. September 2026
Der 134 Jahre alte Brixham-Trawler Leader ist wegen eines Wassereinbruchs in schwere Seenot geraten und löste einen Großeinsatz mit zwei Helikoptern aus. Nach der Ethel von Brixham, die im Januar nach einer Grundberührung auseinanderbrach, ist damit ein weiterer historischer Brixham-Trawler schwer havariert.
